Grew up here, so always a pleasure to be around the wildlife and nature in this area. Always a retreat from real life duties.

A delightful area to picnic with the family and walk along the river. There's a cafe and a very nicely set up eco centre that's great for anyone wanting to know more about local fauna and flora. There's also an area of untouched bush so you can see what the area was like originally. Good parking too.

An interesting park. Probably underutilized. Good walking. A nice 8km circuit between the river bridges. Grassed area. Some facilities at Kent St Weir but otherwise just the odd playground and picnic hut.
